Before posting the final video, I got a lot queries as to what exactly is this #WhiteShirtProject all about! You guys know how in the past I have created different looks by using one piece in common, well my this association with DLF Promenade too, was on the same lines. They asked me to create seven looks using one white shirt & also gave me themes to style the looks accordingly.
While my work was limited only till the video, I decided to create this post only to share the thought behind each look & how I decided to not let the shirt look monotonous in all the looks.
Shirt – Van Huesen
For this theme, I decided to create something ideal for transition from work to dine-out! I paired the shirt alongwith a highwaist pencil skirt & added a sleek gold belt to accentuate the attire. I buttoned the cuff right above my elbow to give puffed shoulder illusion to the shirt & inverted the collar to give it a blouse like appearance.
Added these sassy pair of mules & sunglasses while sticking with the monochrome theme. This intricately embossed box beg was an added charm to the attire. Finally straight hair, and sunglasses to keep sun at bay.

BACK TO SCHOOL
Creating this look actually drove me back to my school time memories! Though we had a school uniform but those days when you were allowed to dress up in casuals, you knew you had to look your best. Keeping my favorite staple of that time in mind, I layered a graphic jersey midi dress over the white shirt & added a mouve suede cap to bring pop of color to this look. Finally my current favorite trend made its way into the attire in the form of embroidered flats!

Not just fusion but it can also be termed as print on print, wherein I paired the shirt alongwith loose pants & layered a floral print shrug over it. Chunky earrings & juttis to finish the look. With half-tie hairdo & subtle makeup I was good to go!

While alot of us has heard tomboy, but the term tombabe would definitely be new to many. Basically, it is a grown version of tomboy, wherein you add little feminine elements to your attire. I wore a printed tee & distressed boyfriend jeans and kept my white shirt unbuttoned, layered over the attire. Added oversized hoops & pink pumps to the look & sported an edgy hairdo to complement the same.
Tee – Lifestyle
For the vacay look, I wanted to create a relaxed, breezy yet stylish outfit, so I did knotted shirt & paired it with a denim skirt, frayed at the hem! Did a sleek high ponytail and added a cap over it. Vacation elements in form of a backpack, sneakers & a watch were added before heading out!

One of my personal favorite, where I decided to sport this long gone reverse shirt trend (but we don’t follow them fashion rules) & paired it with these unconventional pink joggers. Finally, carried an oversized bag & slipped into these patterned sliders, also wore a no make-up look.

Boardroom meant everything formal, but I chose not to stick to a boring color palette and chose a pair of dusty rose trousers to be worn with the shirt. Kept in minimal in terms of accessorise, with a dainty choker, a watch & reading glasses. Added a statement piece to look in form of a floral bag. Lastly a low bun & n*de footwear to go with the attire.

Shot all these looks in 6hrs! Tiring but worth the effort.
Would love to know your feedback on the same.
Much love :*
