There have been times when I need a break from my monotonous schedule, but don’t feel like travelling out of Delhi. Something similar happened a couple of weeks back and that’s when I found solace in this beautiful property, Sandal Suites by Lemon Tree, Noida!
After watching my IG stories a lot of you asked me that why did I choose this property for the staycation assuming it to be just another mainstream hotel but I am sure those dreamy social media pictures put rest to your assumptions and with this blog post, I’ll be a lot more detailed about my stay experience at Sandal Suites, Noida.
So I decided to enjoy a weekend at this property and went ahead with my favourite travel companion, Charuta for a 2D 1N stay in their Family Suite which was basically the Delux Suite connected with the Studio Suite. Extremely spacious with minimal modern decor, we were welcomed with a personalised welcome note, beautifully assorted cheese platter & roasted dry fruit jars to munch during the odd hours.
Our Suite had a magnificent bedroom with a separate living and dining area, an independent balcony, which lent a breathtaking view of the greenery around. It also had a fully equipped kitchen for those who want an apartment vibe even when they are staying in a hotel. Cook at your ease kinda!
The washroom had a separate bathtub area, shower cubicle and a personalised basket consisting of amazing skincare products specially curated for us, again a beautiful gesture by the hotel staff.
The connected suite comprised of twin single beds, as well as an attached bathroom & mini kitchen!
Our day started with a scrumptious buffet lunch at Citrus Cafe prepared by Chef Gaurav Mullick followed by a 30 mins spa session at their Kiyomi Spa. I opted for Urja (Energy Booster) Massage which focussed on the neck, shoulder, arms & back and eased my body ache & relieve my off the stress.
While we wanted to hit the pool post the spa, but the staff decided to surprise us with a high-tea party by the poolside. Be it the view from the terrace, or the delicious snacks & drinks all in all we were glad to have made this decision to take a break from our hectic lives and visit Sandal Suites, Noida.
After the special three-course Oriental dining experience if I have to pick one favourite dish, it had to be the Som Tam Salad and of course the dessert ChocoFudge Brownie Slice with Vanilla Dollop. While we were ready to crash into our beds post the satiating meal, we were suggested to visit Bitters, their in-house bar to try their masterfully blended cocktails. I would definitely recommend you to try Devil’s Advocate if you’re there next!
Our next day started early with a dip in their infinity pool & infinite pictures (pun intended).
While we did not intend to stay till the lunch but their lavish spread made sure that we did. There’s a lot that I can say about the food, but to keep it short I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
To sign off, I would also want to mention that in case you plan to visit the property with your young ones, they also have a recreational area having several boardgames, swings, pool table and a squash court, to keep them engaged.
Take a break, and plan your stay! You can check out the latest offers, prices and other information here.
